Betsy Jane is a 9 year old smooth gaited mare mule. She has show experience and is great on trails. If you are a confident rider you can do anything with her. She is good for the farrier, loads, ties, etc. She does have trust issues and needs patience.

Betsy Jane came from Florida and has had extensive training. She has been shown and will take her correct lead when cantered in an arena. She will do her nice smooth running walk all day, gait out or canter for extended times. She will take you up or down the steepest ravines. She gives 110%. She is an easy keeper and VERY neat in the stall. She is not aggressive with others. She has NEVER offered to kick or bite. She does require someone with experience with mules. She has trust issues. She is much more calm with someone who is firm and not timid around her. She cannot be \"caught\" unless you corner her in an open area. She will come to you for horse cookies or will willingly go into her stall for grain. She is very affectionate with our gelding, but will ride away from him at home or on the trail. We must sell Betsy Jane and our black and white SSH gelding (who is also smooth gaited) as we are going to start driving semi. We won't be home enough to care for them. They are both very special animals and deserve a kind and loving home. Her price is $2500 and his is $3000 We are in NW Ohio
